Donna Kay Vance, 78, of Geneva, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in her family home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
She was born November 24, 1945, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Dennis and Hazel (Anderson) Gilman and graduated from Kirtland High School. On September 7, 1962, Donna married Elias Vance in Cleveland, Ohio and together they shared over 61 years of love and memories until his passing on September 22, 2023.
Donna was a retired dietary worker and in her spare time enjoyed making chocolates with her grandkids and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Rocky (Kathy) Vance, Allen (Cindy) Vance, Brian Vance, Ty (Jaime) Vance; grandchildren, Dominic, Austin, Alexis, Lana, and Jayce; great-grandchild, Nicholas; sister, Bonnie Way.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis E. Gilman (Gene).
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 4pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home following the visitation.
