Dorothy Jean McKeel (Zurek), also known as Dot, Mama, Gram, Grammy, Bootsy and Hiedi, age 90, of Concord, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025.

She was born November 22, 1934, in
Rochester, Pennsylvania to Mary Zurek and Joe Ruble and graduated from Monaca High School.

Dorothy was married to James McKeel who preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a hard worker and blessed to enjoy 32 years of retirement. She enjoyed traveling and loved watching sports. However, her greatest joy was
spending time with her loving family
and being silly with her grandkids and telling stories.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Jimmy McKeel in Northfield, Minnesota,
Scott (Kim) McKeel in Center Township, Pennsylvania, Steve (Lisa) McKeel in Orlando, Florida and Holly (Brian) Fabiniak of Concord, Ohio; grandchildren, Juliana, Tyler, Justin, Jessica, Jory, Scotty, Shane, Stefan, Brenden, Connor, Macy, Stephen, Chase and Shea; great-grandchildren,
Aidan, Silas, Skylar, Ava, Zoe, Taylor, Brady, Gloriana, Elizabeth, and James.

She was preceded in death by her husband ,James; daughter, Sandi; son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Melinda.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services,1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
