Dorri Dawkins

Dorri Lee Dawkins (nee Brown), 47, of Orwell, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026.

Born on October 30, 1978, in Ohio, Dorri was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dorri was the daughter of Dale J. Brown and Davida Cain. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Neil Dawkins, and will be laid to rest beside him at Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristol Township.

Dorri is survived by her children, Dakota (Emily) Darrin, Nicholas Darrin, and Kyle Darrin, as well as her grandchildren, Oliver, Veronica, Harper, and Eloise. She is also survived by her mother, Davida Cain; siblings, Davida (Doug) Slates, Deidre (Philip) Persinger; nieces, Ari and Tristle; and nephew, Caleb.

Dorri attended Crestwood High School and later the University of Phoenix. She enjoyed many simple pleasures in life, especially painting, fishing, and listening to music. She particularly cherished listening to music with her beloved husband, Neil. Her creativity, gentle spirit, and love for her family were an important part of who she was.

Those who knew Dorri will remember her for the love she gave to her family, the joy she found in her interests, and the memories she created with the people closest to her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041.
