Dottie L. Sartain, 77, of Madison, Ohio passed away from natural causes on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home.
She was born February 28, 1946, in Tracy City, TN to Woodrow and Rosa Sartain and moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she graduated from Collinwood High School.
Dottie is survived by her daughter, Angela Piercy (Larry) Piercy; grandchildren, Robin Hall (Adam) Hall, Richard Venchiarutti IV, Ariel Venchiarutti, Sarah (Mike) Samplak, Lauren (Dan) Seitz, Stanley (Jax) Piercy,; great-grandchildren, Kyra Hall, Eve Hall, Simmone Hall, Ava Samplak, Ayden Samplak, Christina Seitz, and Nevalyn Piercy; siblings, Linda (John) Lunato, Vickie Sartain, Keith (Liz) Sartain, Dennis Sartain, and Rosemary Sartain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Rosa Sartain; son, Richard Venchiarutti; brothers, Kenneth Sartain, Larry Sartain, and Stanley Sartain.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Hospice of the Western Reserve and the Lake West Medical Center nurses and caregivers. Also, a very special "Thank You" to Dotties' niece, Amy Petruccelli, for her special love and care she gave to Dottie.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
