Douglas Ralph Hayhurst

Douglas Ralph Hayhurst, age 54, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.

He was born on November 19, 1971, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania to the late Beverly and Bill Hayhurst and graduated from the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School in Jefferson, Ohio.

On January 8, 1994, Doug married Marsha L. Greenwalt in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and together they shared more than 32 years of love and memories.

Doug worked as a CDL Truck Driver and in his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing, and ATV riding.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha L. Hayhurst; children, Douglas W. Hayhurst (Bethaney), Johnathan F. Hayhurst, Sarah W. Hayhurst (Gage), and Alyssa A. Beck (Billy); grandchildren, Caine, Nova, Jayce, Ayla, Karson, Scarlett, Greyson, Lukas, Carter, and Alexzander; sister, Kathy Siemers.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Bill Hayhurst and grandson, Jackson Douglas.

A private family service will be held at a future date with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
