Duane (Dee) Greer, age 78, of Thompson, passed away surrounded by family January 13, 2022. She was born April 28, 1943, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold and Grace Anderson.
Dee graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1961 and went on to attend Cosmetology school. On September 21, 1985, Dee married the love of her life, Richard Greer, in Chardon, Ohio. She enjoyed her days reading, spending the day in Amish Country, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Her friendly demeanor was the reason she made friends all throughout her lifetime.
Dee is survived by her children, Ralph Johnston and Jill (Joe) Jirousek; Grandchildren, Justine (Josh) Ludlow, Jannelle (Alyssa) Jirousek, Carson Johnston, and Evan Johnston; Great- Grandchildren, Bentley Jirousek and Brooklynn Ludlow; Animal Companions, Miley Jirousek, and Sprocket Jirousek.
Dee is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Greer (02/04/2018), twin sister, Diane Anderson (7/21/1995), and her parents, Grace Anderson (09/01/2006) and Harold Anderson (01/06/2006).
