Dwane William Cox, 61, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home in Painesville. He was born March 5, 1963, in Americus, Georgia. Dwane was a 1981 graduate of Conneaut High School and attended Ohio University for 1 year in 1986. He was a Christian, loved hunting, fishing, trapping, photography, music, he played all horns, piano, and bass guitar. Dwane was a member of the Madison Jazz Project where he played trumpet and was a member of the Erie Thunderbirds where he played contra. He is survived by his wife, Margie Conrad; daughter, Hannah Brook Cox; granddaughter, Paisely Marie Cox; and sister, Tracey Cox. Dwane was preceded in death by his mother and father, Beverly Cox and Edward Cox; sons, Evan William, and Brett Michaels; and brothers, Scott Cox, and Brian Cox. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 1-4pm at Cebars Backroom, 6884 North Ridge Road, Madison, Ohio 44057. Please use the back parking lot and back entrance.
