Edward Eugene "Gene" Warfield, born in Allais, KY. (near Hazard), on March 16th, 1943, in a log cabin.

Eugene and family came to Ohio in 1956. Eugene married Linda Hill Warfield in 1977, and they would have been celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary on August 6th, 2022.

Eugene worked as a dental technician, a stone engraver, and at Sawyer Research Products as a safety director for many years. Eugene loved to travel, play his guitars, canoeing, woodworking, flying in many forms, looking for eagles, and always looking up in the sky.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Linda; his brothers; Dan (Lois) Warfield, and Jim (Pat) Warfield; his mother-in-law, Maryann Rogers; and his brother-in-law, Dan Hill; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Sterling and Nola (Stacy) Warfield, his sister; Gypsie Baker, his brother; Glen Warfield, and his sister-in laws; Dot Warfield and Karen Gilbert.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, July 30th at Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Rd., Perry, Ohio. A Visitation is scheduled at the church prior to services from 10:00am-11:30am.
