Elaine Louise Armstrong, 69, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center due to cardiac arrest following a short illness. She was born on February 25, 1956, in Geneva, OH, to parents, Charles K. and Evelyn Mae Bluhm (nee Applequist). Elaine attended Kent State University after high school, and she married Dana Jon Armstrong on September 11, 1976, at Lenox Church. She was an animal lover; she loved to sew quilts and cross-stitching. Elaine was an avid gardener with both house plants and fruit and ornamental trees and was a member Bible Baptist Church in Ashtabula. She was diagnosed with Melanoma cancer in 2016 and is a nine-year cancer survivor due to immunotherapy. Elaine is survived by her husband, Dana Jon Armstrong; mother, Evelyn M. Bluhm; siblings, Charles Bluhm of Andover, Sharon (Bluhm) Morrow of East Trumbull, and John Bluhm of Rome. Also surviving is her dog, Jake, the two were inseparable and he sorely misses her. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kenneth Bluhm in 2013. At this time, no services have been scheduled.
