Elias Vance, 86, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.
He was born July 12, 1937, in Accoville, West Virginia, to the late Lewis and Arlie Vance. From 1961-1963, he honorably served in the U.S. Army and during this time he married Donna Gilman-Vance in Cleveland, Ohio on September 7, 1962, and together they shared more than 60 years of love and memories. He was a hard-working man and retired as a truck driver after many years of service.
Elias is survived by his wife, Donna Vance; children, Rocky (Kathy) Vance, Allen (Cindy) Vance, Brian Vance, Ty (Jaime) Vance; grandchildren, Dominic, Austin, Alexis, Lana, and Jayce; great-grandchild, Nicholas; brothers, James Vance and Richard Vance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Tennessee, Shirley, Virgil, Larry, Dorma, and Roy.
A visitation and service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 1pm-4pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
