Ernest John Anderson, beloved father, grandfather, and best friend, passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 82.

Ernest was the kind of man who made life feel fuller just by being in it. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home to those who knew him. More than anything, he was the glue of the family.

He shared an unbreakable bond with his daughter, Heather Yates, and his granddaughter Jordan Yates. Together they were the "three amigos," a trio built on love, loyalty, and a lifetime of memories. Their connection was something rare, rooted in friendship as much as family.

Ernest is survived by his daughter Heather Yates, and her husband and his best friend Eric Cobb. Ernest is also survived by his granddaughters, Jordan Yates, her spouse Bryce Schneider, and his extended granddaughter Elise Cobb, and her spouse Jared Holcomb.

Ernest was preceded in death by his mother, Elvie Elenor Raino, and his father Ernest Raino Anderson.
He is lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends whose lives he touched.

Ernest is also survived by his former wife, Phyllis Pugh. She stood by him till the very end. A true testament to the lasting bond they shared and deep respect.

He is not defined by his titles, but by the way he loved. He showed up, he cared deeply and created a lifetime of moments that will never be forgotten.

He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved and always remembered.
