Esther Gale Baird, 78, of Geneva, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home in Geneva, on Sunday, January 18. She was born on February 12, 1947, to Howard and Nannie Ganoe.

Esther was a long-time resident of Geneva and will be remembered for her quiet strength and the simple joys she cherished. She loved watching her favorite Western shows, reading, and crocheting, pastimes that brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Baird; her grandchildren Natasha Herron (David Herron), Kayla Baird, and Narcisa Arnold (Philip Arnold); and many great-grandchildren, including Lacresha Herron, Kamaiya Relliford, Destiny Herron, Selena Rivera, Liliana Padilla, Katrina Herron, Memo Padilla, David Herron, and Kholei Relliford, Justin Baird, Philip Arnold Jr., and Ares Arnold.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Eugene Baird, and by several siblings, including Bud Ganoe, Bill Ganoe, Donald Ganoe, Naydine Romano, Ilene Corban, Maxine Davison, Margaret Ganoe, and Eleanor Ganoe.
