Frances A. Stevens, 74, died Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Willoughby, Ohio. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 19, 1951, to Robert J. and Anne Stevens. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Kermode Jr.; siblings Robert P. (Catherine) of Branchburg, NJ, Thomas (Barbara) of Mentor, OH, Margaret of Tucker, GA, Jerome (Hellen) of Simpsonville, SC, Timothy (Molly) of Madison, OH, and Christopher (Sheila) of Oro Valley, AZ; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also surviving is her long-time companion, Richard Lagrange of Mayfield Heights. She was predeceased by her parents; infant brother, James; sister, Kathryn; and nephew, Robert J.

Fran was raised in Mentor, OH, and attended St. Mary of the Assumption School. She was a 1969 graduate of Regina High School in South Euclid, OH. She lived and worked most of her adult life in Cleveland and attended St. Jerome Catholic Church. In recent years, she resided in Willoughby, OH.

Friends may gather at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 15000 Lake Shore Blvd., Cleveland, OH, on Wednesday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The later date allows family and friends traveling from out of state to attend. Interment will be at Mentor Municipal Cemetery.
