Frank A. Massaro, Sr., 87 of Andover, Ohio, passed peacefully on December 15, 2025. Frank was born on December 4, 1938, at the family home in the Greenville section of Jersey City, New Jersey. He graduated from Snider High School in Jersey City, followed by service in the US Army. Frank then attended St. Peter's College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and started his career as a systems analyst, and eventually retired as a director of information systems after a long career. Frank relocated to Northeast Ohio in the late 1970s, and spent nearly 50 years residing in the communities of Mentor and Andover. He was a friend to all those he met, and his outgoing personality, and friendly and generous demeanor endeared him to all. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a baseball player and a little league coach, an avid fisherman, and the longtime Scoutmaster of Troop 383 in Mentor Ohio. He is survived by his wife Ronna, sons Frank Jr. and Darin (Tina) Bobak, and grandsons Benjamin Bobak, Christian (Naomi) Bobak, and Mitchell Bobak. He is preceded by his parents Francesco and Antionette (Ricci) Massaro, and sisters Geraldine (Frank) Orofino, Rose (John) DeSimone, Angela (Nicholas) Tatulli, Anna (Jim) Guiliana, and Helen (Gus) Lippolis. A Memorial Service is planned to take place in New Jersey, where he will be laid to rest with his parents in Spring, 2026. A Celebration of Frank's Life is planned in Northeast Ohio during Summer, 2026.
