Frank A. Baird, 72, of Chardon, passed away December 9, 2022 at
Geauga Hospital. Born May 31, 1950 in Bay Village, he spent much of his life in Avon Lake before moving his family to Chardon in 1984.
Frank's career was in the food industry. His food talents were many, but he found through his business that he most enjoyed making, developing and promoting pizza. Frank traveled the world for food competitions and was a World Champion pizza maker.
Frank loved his family dearly and most enjoyed spending time with them. He loved and celebrated life! His love, compassion, wit and humor were contagious and endearing to all of his family and friends who knew and loved him.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Candice Baird (nee Tomlinson); his mother, Frances Baird (nee Pace); his sons, Steve (Amy), , Brian (Chava), Kevin (Kelly), and James (Brooke) Baird; his sister, Patricia (Richard Speer; brother, John Baird (Karen); 9 precious grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Frank is reunited in heaven with his father, George, and his sister, Lillian Baird.
Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Avon Lake United Church
of Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH, with the celebration of Frank's life to begin at 2:00 P.M.
