Freda Ferrell Cales, age 88, of Madison, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Freda was born on May 20, 1937, in Ramp, West Virginia to parents Robert Lee and Laura Edith Cales. Freda enjoyed cooking and baking throughout her years. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Freda is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Simko; granddaughter, Stephanie (Bill) Kirby; great-grandchildren, Bella and Jack Kirby.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Paul, Alvis, Alvie, Vivian, Jennings, Jane and Norena.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Calvary Assembly of God, 28870 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44092. A service will be held at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:30am. A memorial reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to her daughter Kimberly and mailed directly to the funeral home.
