Freda Ruth Mason, a beloved member of the Fairport, Ohio community, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, surrounded by love and memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul and Marion Margarite Mason; her sister, Mary Capretta; and her brothers, Robert Mason and Art Mason.

Freda is survived by her siblings, Betty Ishmael (John) and Fred Mason; her daughter, Donna Mason; and her cherished grandchildren, Brittany Kinnin and Marcus Toreki.

Freda spent many years working in local bars in Fairport, where she was known for her warmth, wit, and welcoming spirit. She also proudly owned a bar in the area, creating a space that felt like home to many.

More than anything, Freda was a caretaker and a giver. She opened her heart and home to those in need, always ensuring there was a warm bed and a hot meal for anyone who needed it. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was a collector not just of things, but of stories, friendships, and moments that mattered.

Freda touched countless lives with her kindness, strength, and unwavering support. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she helped, loved, and inspired.
