Freddie Leroy Beck, lovingly known to all as "Uncle Fred", 66, of Jefferson (former long-time resident of Pierpont), passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at his home.
He was born October 8, 1957, in Ashtabula, Ohio to Harmon and Barbara (Baker) Beck and graduated from Geneva High School Class of 1976. In 1993, Freddie married the love of his life, Barb, in Pierpont. Together they shared over 20 years of love and memories.
Freddie worked at Perfection Corporation for over 30 years as a tow motor operator at the Madison location and a utility operator at the Geneva location. He was a member of the Ashtabula Eagles, enjoyed NASCAR and football, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Tucker; siblings, Jessie Chamberlain, Connie Beck, Martina Luyando, David Beck, Tammy Beck (Valentin), and Stacey Mackynen (Steven); nieces and nephews, Ruthy, Michael (Noemi), Chrissy (Tony), Jeremy, Jorge, Linda, Christopher (Liz), Frankie, Nadia, Natalie, and Nathan; several great-nieces and great-nephews; good friends, Debbie Abbott, Al Crawford, and Steve Patton.
Freddie was preceded in death by his wife, Barb; father, Harmon Beck; niece, Carmen.
A private service for the immediate family will be held at this time with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date for extended family and friends. He will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Pierpont.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
