Frederick George Wilson, 66, of Austinburg, passed away November 28, 2021. He was born October 2, 1955, in Madison, Ohio, the son of the late Adaline Catherine (Rebell) Wilson Harkabus and Shirley Woodrow Wilson.

Fred graduated from Geneva High School in 1973 and on October 11, 1975, married Lorie Gruber. Fred and Lorie shared 50 years of love and memories before his passing. Fred worked very hard for his family, including 27 years at Avery Dennison. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards with his brothers and sisters and their families; as well as visiting with his friends at the VFW post 6846. Two things he truly loved were being around a bonfire with his family and watching the Browns game with his sons and grandchildren!

Fred is survived by his wife, Lorie; four sons, Seth (Daniell) Wilson, Abe (Lindsey) Wilson, Luke Wilson, and Zackery Wilson; eight grandchildren, Hayden, Jacob, Chae, Cameron, Wyatt, Alexis, Chase and Dalton; and four siblings, Mel (Chris) Wilson, Cheryl (Jed) Mewborn, Ann Higbee Wilson, and Robert (Laura) Wilson.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Bill Higbee.

There will be a celebration of life for Fred at the Geneva VFW, Post 6846, on December 20, 2021, from 3:00-8:00 PM. All friends and family are invited.
