Gary Ray Murphy, age 77, of Lake County, passed away on December 11th, 2020. He was born on November 11th, 1943 in Clay County West Virginia to parents Ray Murphy and Jewell (Parker) Murphy. Gary proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1967. Gary worked for many years as a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. He leaves behind his loving wife; Donna (Pauler) Murphy, his sons; Michael Murphy of Virginia and Christopher Murphy of Florida, his stepdaughter; Debbie Kelly of Chardon, and his siblings; Reva, Suzanne and Andie. Gary is also survived by his 5 Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Eva Murphy. Gary loved his family dearly, he also enjoyed traveling, experiencing new things, and hunting. He will be missed greatly by his family.
