Gary "Grampse" Reba, 75, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Born on August 20, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Gary was the son of John Reba and Rose Reba (Arello). He was a proud graduate of Holy Redeemer High School, Class of 1965, and later earned a culinary degree through ICAS at Lakeland Community College. Gary also honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1970 to 1973.

Gary was a Catholic in faith and enjoyed watching movies, riding his motorcycle, and cooking. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

He is survived by his loving family, including his grandchildren, Brandy Christopher, Gary Reba, and Sienna Asbury; his siblings, Joseph Reba and his wife Rita, Sandra Evancho and her husband Ted, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Reba; his daughter, Gina Christopher, and his sister Martha Nairn.

Gary will be remembered as a beloved grandfather who will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved him.
