Jerry Picard, 74, passed peacefully Thursday evening, August 29, 2024.

He was a Loving husband, father, and brother.   He loved learning new things and had a thirst for knowledge.  Cooking and feeding others was a lifelong passion of his.  He had a generosity of spirit whether it was working at the Lions Club, baking bread for the City Mission or throwing an annual fish fry.  Jerry never met a person he could not befriend. His grandsons were the biggest blessing of his life and he enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.  Jerry also faithfully loved his little hometown of Conneaut, OH and his chosen homes in Homosassa, FL and Jefferson, OH.  Like his father, he loved making things in his woodshop or taking rides on the lake or later the gulf.   Finally, he lived life on his own terms and to the fullest.

There will be a private service.  In lieu of flowers do something kind for someone around you.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
