Gladys (Yvonne) Henry, 87, of Perry, Ohio, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home in Perry, OH. She was born on November 5, 1937, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to parents Violet Butler and Woodrow Pritts. On September 4, 1955, in Winchester, Virginia, she married Clyde William Henry Sr., and were married for almost 70 years. Gladys was the owner of Henry's Furniture in Perry, OH, for 26 years. She loved camping and attending outdoor markets. Gladys is survived by her loving husband, Clyde William Henry Sr.; children, Clyde William Henry Jr., Lorrie Taylor, Tammie Hobson, Jamie (James) Gerhard; grandchildren, Clyde Henry III, Kenny Henry, Brooke Hobson, Nicole Taylor, Jarred Taylor, James Gerhard III, and Jade Gerhard; great-grandchildren, Emery Henry, and Genevieve Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Violet Butler and Woodrow Pritts; son, Mark L. Henry; brother, Kenneth Pritts. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 12pm-2pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH, 44041 with a burial to follow at Perry Cemetery, 3840 Middle Ridge Rd, Perry, OH 44081.
