Harry C. Prine, age 85, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at the Jefferson Healthcare Center on Saturday, November 26th, 2022. Born on November 1st, 1937, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to parents Harry C. Prine and Mae O. (Smith) Prine. Harry married his sweetheart (the late) Dorothy Jane (Lyons) Prine on January 22nd, 1955, in West Springfield, PA, and they were happily married over 50 years. Harry worked proudly for over 40 years as a driver for Cotton Club Bottling Co. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, had a love of race cars, having a good meal and dessert, spending time with his children and grandchildren, his schnauzer dogs, and country music. In his younger years he enjoyed working on stock cars with his brother Del. He was also a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Free Masons and a faithful Baptist. Harry is survived by his children, Julie A. (David) Zetlaw, of Ashtabula, Deborah L. Dolan, of Jefferson, Larry C. Prine, of Jefferson, Patricia D. (Russell) Barchanowicz, of Jefferson, Lori M. (Carson) Estep, of Jefferson, and Arnold L. (Roxanne) Prine, of Jefferson. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Matthew Richards, Steven Richards, Mallory Richards, Joshua Zetlaw, Lindsey (Nikos) Burlingham, Andrew (Libby) Dolan, Danielle (Jeff) DiDonato, Melissa (Stan) Martin, Bryan Barchanowicz, James Forgan, Sarah (Jason) Kibler, Elizabeth (Kevin) Frye, Verdeana Turner, Samuel Estep, Andrea Thompson, Joel (Kimberly) Prine, Denaye (David) Barahona, Kayla (David) Maier and Cory (Courtney) Prine, as well as many cherished great-grandchildren. Harry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy (2006), his daughter Pamela J. Forgan (2021), his grandson Gregory Dolan (1987), his siblings, Charles, Delano, Eleanor, Paul Palmer, Richard Palmer, Robert Palmer, Ella-Jean Palmer, and Leola Palmer Clark. Calling hours will be held 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. A funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 1:00pm with Pastor Kevin Phillips of First Baptist Church of Jefferson presiding. A graveside burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson, Ohio.
