Herbert "Herb" Arthur Clark, 88, of Williamsfield and Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
He was born February 18, 1938, in Willoughby, OH to parents Arthur and Lottie Clark and was a graduate of Perry High School and served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963.
In 1961, Herb married Janet Dill in Perry, OH. He was a devoted husband for over 50 years, together they built a life centered on family, commitment, and care for one another.
He was a proud and loving father to his sons, Jeff Clark and Greg Clark, both of Geneva. Herb took great pride in his family and the life he built with them.
Herb retired from Madison Schools, where he worked as a bus mechanic. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the respect he earned from those he worked alongside.
Herb is survived by his sons, Jeff (Heidi) Clark and Greg Clark, and his sister, Sue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Lottie Clark; his wife, Janet; and his siblings, Robert, Fran, and Jessie.
Herb will be remembered for his quiet strength, his devotion to his family, and the many years he spent providing for and supporting those he loved.
A private family service was held on April 13, 2026.
