Irene Lillian (Molesworth) Pearson, 95, of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at The Lantern of Saybrook.
She was born April 18, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario Canada to Oliver and Florence (Jenks) Molesworth. After graduating from high school in Toronto, Canada she married the late Frederick C. Pearson on November 28, 1946.
Irene worked for Dr. Richard Krabill and Dr. Robert Barr for many years. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ, and in her spare time, she loved anything to do with nature especially birds, flowers, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, C. Bruce Pearson (Daphne), James E. Pearson (Marina), Marilyn A. Whitely, Frederick C. Pearson, Jr., and Robert S. Pearson; grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Matthew, Sarah, Lillian, Louie, Cherie, and Lynn; great-grandchildren, Christian, Kali, Alayna, Elyssa, Edmund, Dalton, Gideon, Lyra, Scarlett, Charley, and Caitlin.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Florence (Jenks) Molesworth; husband, Frederick C. Pearson, Sr. on August 16, 2021; sister, Isabel Turpin.
At her request, there will be a private family service.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to The Lantern of Saybrook and Hospice of the Western Reserve for their exceptional care and love shown to Irene and her family.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
