Jack Stewart Crook AKA "BIG JACK", 87, of Thompson, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at his family home.
He was born December 9, 1935 in Fort Blackmore, Virginia to the late James Lloyd Crook and Martha Ruth Stewart and graduated from Dungannon High School. Jack served in the US Army from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1960. After his discharge, he married Nancy Honeycutt on June 9, 1960 and on June 1, 1996 he married Sharon Bunch. Jack retired from Caterpillar Company and in his spare time, was a "Jack of all trades"" and loved to dabble in all aspects of cars and trucks.
Jack is survived by his sons, Tim, Steven (Cristina), and Chase; grandchildren, Melissa, Tabitha, Ryan, Jake, Stevie, and River; great-grandchildren, Vinnie, Leland, Carter, Noella, Grayson, Hendrix, RaeLee, and Jace; siblings, Larue, Hazel, and Ann; best friend, Cecil "Cool Pappy" Thompson.
A service will be planned at a later date with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson, Ohio.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
