James Edward Bennett, 71, of Williamsfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Andover.
He was born February 23, 1953, in Warren, Ohio to the late Glen and Virginia Bennett.
James was an antique dealer and collector and was very well known in the area. He was the local community handyman known to all as "Mr. Fixit."
He is survived by his children, Matthew Todd Bennett and wife Rebecca, Ryan James Bennett and wife Pamela, and Lianne Renee (Bennett) Hayford and husband Adrian; grandchildren, Hannah Bennett, Sadie Bennett, Emma Bennett, Joey Bennett, Jasmine Bennett, Lily Bennett, Kaytlin Hayford, Andria Hayford, and Cameron Hayford; step-mother, Charlene Koivisto; siblings, Richard Bennett, Donald Bennett, Gerald Bennett, and Cheryl (Bennett) Kumher.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Virginia Bennett; step-father, Arthur Koivisto; siblings, Glen Bennett, and Nancy Potts.
A Celebration of Life will held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 6pm-8pm at the Williamsfield Community Center, 5920 US 322, Williamsfield, Ohio 44093.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
