James "Jim" Thomas Fox, age 82, of Cleveland, OH., passed away on Monday October 23, 2023. Jim was born on August 16th, 1941, in Braddock, PA, to his parents James and Cecilia (Bujakowski) Fox. Jim was a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam in the 1960's. On Oct 28th, 1995, Jim married his love, Dawn M. (Kishmarton) Fox in North Royalton at their parents' home. Jim had a passion for sports and played minor league baseball with Cincinnati and Baltimore, he also loved to spend his free time playing slo-pitch softball, golf, visiting the wineries with his wife, and enjoyed listening to local bands. Jim was inducted into the Greater Cleveland Slo-Pitch Hall of Fame in 1989. He was also a member of the Local 293 Beverage Distributors, and owned Fox's Sports Bar & Grill in Lyndhurst with his wife for over 29 years. Jim is survived by his sister Judy (Fox) and (the late) Bill Nemeth, his in-laws, Doreen and Ray Brenner, (the late) Donald and Barb Kishmarton, Dan and Patty Kishmarton, and Doug and Kelly Kishmarton. Jim is also survived by his many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Cecilia (Bujakowski) Fox and his in-laws, Donald and Mary Kishmarton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, from 1-5pm at Debonne Vineyards, 7840 Doty Rd., Madison, OH., 44057, family and friends will gather in the Flight Terminal Party Room.
