With great sorrow we are heartbroken to announce the passing away of our beloved father James A. Haney Jr. He passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2023. He was only 64 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Jim (Jimmy) was born on May 28, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. Jim is survived and missed by his loving daughters Carissa Colegrove, Jessica Abrego and Alissa Cunningham. Forever cherished and remembered by his three grandchildren Jorden, Brayden, and Felicity. He also left behind his most loyal friend and cousin Dan Heikell, who always stood by his side. His memory will be forever cherished by countless friends and family members including his sisters Cindy Creegan, Susan Araps,and his two other children Dawn and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Joyce Korver, Stepfather David Korver and father James A. Haney Sr. Jim was truly a great man whose impact and love will be forever felt by his family, that loves him dearly. He was a vibrant soul, whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. Jim had a big personality and charisma to make friends no matter the situation. His laugh and smile were infectious to everyone around him. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Nothing made him more happy than to be spending time with his family. He had a myriad of hobbies including traveling, hiking adventures, fishing, gardening, reading the Bible and spending anytime he could with his family. Jim was always doing something, he was most definitely a jack of all trades. From being able to put all new brake lines on a car, to evacuating a bee hive, to completely transforming a house. He could do anything. His knowledge and overwhelming love will be greatly missed and forever ingrained in all he knew. Until we meet again Pumpkin man. We love you always.
