James Curtis Hoopingarner, age 67, of Mentor, OH., passed away on January 28th, 2023, in Cleveland, OH. Jim was born on October 6th, 1955, in Painesville, OH., to parents Mary Kay and Robert Hoopingarner. Jim graduated from Borromeo Seminary in 1973, this year was his fifty-year class reunion. Jim worked at PAKO for 23 years, he also loved sports, especially golf, bowling, baseball, and football.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Bob Hoopingarner of Arizona, Tim Hoopingarner of Colorado, Mary Hoopingarner of Mentor, and Ann Hoopingarner of Colorado. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Kevin Hoopingarner in 2019. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 11th, 2023, at 1:30pm at Borromeo Seminary Center for Pastoral Leadership (Aula Room), 28700 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, OH., 44092.
