James P. "Jim" Greene, 54, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Madison, Ohio from cancer.
Jim was born November 6, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio to Donita Greene and Mitchell Duane Hill and was raised by his mother and step-father, Glenn Holden.
He loved NASCAR, country music, OSU football, fishing, and spending time with his wife and grandkids.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lois Greene of Youngstown, Ohio; son, Christopher Paul Wilson; parents, Glenn and Donita Holden; brother, Lonnie Jay Greene; many step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Duane Hill; maternal grandparents, Van Greene and Doris Bowman; paternal grandparents, Diane Ostrander and Warren Hill.
Calling hours will be held at New Life Assembly of God, 1961 Lafevre Road, Geneva, Ohio on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11am - 1pm, with a service to follow at 1pm. A banquet in the Fellowship Hall will follow the service.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown and at Cardinal Woods in Madison, especially his sister-in-law, Vanessa Greene, for their support and gentle care given to Jim during his final journey.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
