James Mark Taylor, 68, affectionately called "Mark" by his family and friends, of Geneva, Ohio, died unexpectedly at his home Friday, December 29th, 2023.
Mark was born February 24th, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina to James Raymond Taylor & Wilda (Peyton) Taylor. He was a lifelong resident of Geneva, Ohio. He married Michele A. (Fenton) Taylor December 21, 1991.
Mark worked for over 40 years as a machinist doing everything from setup and operation of manual machines to setting up and programming complicated CNC machines to make precision parts for the Aerospace, Defense & Transportation industries. Mark was well liked and respected by his coworkers.
Mark was also an animal lover who not only took exceptional care of his animals, but also donated anonymously to help provide medical care for other animals in need. He also had great compassion for the two legged variety. He was always willing to help family, friends, and strangers. He was a kind and gentle soul that had a smile that could light up a room, and liked to greet people with that smile and a witty joke.
A lover of music, in his spare time he and his wife, Michele, enjoyed attending concerts.
Mark was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who was deeply loved and will be missed terribly by those who knew him.
Mark is survived by his wife Michele, their cat Katie, sons Dustin & Tobias, sister Dawn Taylor, brother Boyd Taylor, and nieces Kendra Christiana, Amanda Miller, Mallory Gersper, and nephew Jeremy Taylor.
Mark was predeceased by his parents, James R. Taylor & Wilda P. Taylor.
