Janet Cavanaugh, 59, of Mentor, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at UH Cleveland Medical Center.
She was born November 23, 1963 in Euclid, Ohio the daughter of the late Betty Jean Brian and Richard Schlegel.
Janet was a resident aid at Deepwood in Mentor and in her spare time, enjoyed crafting, gardening, bowling leagues, coloring, listening to music, and pc gaming.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Cavanaugh; children, Brittney Cundiff and husband Allen, Courtney Doce, Kayla Doce, Kacie Doce-Heath and husband Gavin, Matthew Cavanaugh, Sydnee Cavanaugh, and Samantha Cavanaugh; grandchildren, Kaiden Cundiff, Breanna Cundiff, Elizabeth Cundiff, Theo Burres, and Ariya Burres; siblings, Lynda Vance, and Gayle Brothers.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jean Brian and Richard Schlegel; sister, Debbie Medved.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
