Janet A. (nee Knuth) Stalnaker, age 82, of Geneva, passed away on early morning on February 17th, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. Janet was born on July 16th, 1940, to parents Wade C. and Florence (Egan) Knuth, in Cleveland, OH. On May 27th, 1961, Janet married her love William L. Stalnaker in Madison, Ohio. Janet enjoyed boating and being on the water, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janet was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Madison. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William L. Stalnaker; her cherished daughter, Debra (Eric) Doerzbacher; and her beloved grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Bertone and William Holbrook. Janet is also survived by her sweet great-grandchildren, Caleb, Zoey, McKayla, Jaylin, and Abel. She is preceded in death by her parents Wade and Florence and her children, Nannette Lynn and William Lawrence Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 24th, from 5pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd., Geneva, Ohio, 44041.
