Janice Eileen Lane, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born April 30, 1936, to Viola and Gerald Barlow. Janice currently resided with her granddaughter Andrea Ostberg in Geneva, Ohio.

She was the most amazing, loving, bright, beautiful, smart and kind mom and nana we could have ever wished for, she filled our lives with warmth, wisdom and endless love. Her laughter was contagious, and she was always making friends with everyone she met, her presence was a light that made the world a better place. She was truly perfect; life will never be the same without her. Even though her loss was one of the hardest things we will ever face, we find comfort in knowing that she was ready to rest. She is at peace in a better place, free from pain, surrounded by light, watching over us, we know her love will always remain with us.

Janice retired from Premix and loved spending time with her family, making blankets, sitting in the sun and running to Starbucks for chai tea.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel. Janice is survived by her children, Pam Lane, Arthur (Sandy) Lane, and David Lane; also a son she took on as her own, Perry (Susan) Johnson; grandchildren, David Anthony Lane, Lindsay Lane, Logan (Rachel) Lane, Andrea (Mike) Ostberg, Jordan Lane, Jared Guest, Amy (Steve) Prochko, Steven Johnson, and Kevin Johnson; great-grandchildren, Belle, Zander, Meredith, Draco, Madelynn, and Lily.
