Jason R. Prater

Jason R. Prater, 52, of Concord passed away June 25, 2026 in his home.

Jason was born January 27, 1974, graduated from Madison High School in 1992 and was a lifelong resident of Lake County.

A welder by trade, he was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 33 for decades.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robin.

He is survived by his daughter Alexis Vaughan, son Jeremy Auvil, granddaughter Amiyah Pacheco, mother Sandra (nee Edelman), brothers Darryl (Sheila) and Scott (Dani), sister Terri Connell, and aunts, one uncle and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial arrangements will be held with the family at a later date.
