Jayson "Jay Bird" Lee Cochran, 46, of Geneva, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at UH Medical Center in Cleveland.
He was born July 22, 1977 in Geneva, Ohio to James F. and Brabara Ann (Johnson) Cochran. After graduating from Geneva High School in 1995, he went on to receive his culinary certificate from Edwards Culinary School.
Jay Bird loved to work outdoors and was a "Jack of all trades." In his spare time, he enjoyed sports, fishing, listening to music, playing the drums, and playing Poker.
He is survived by his parents, James F. and Barbara Ann Cochran; sister, Melissa Cochran; nieces, Alyssa Berry and Lexia Loveland; nephew, Joshua Berry; he is also survived by many aunts and uncles.
Preceded him in death were his grandparents, Frank and Helen Cochran and Edward and Dorothy Johnson; an uncle and a cousin.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2-5pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
At the request of the family, monetary donations are preferred. However, if sending flowers, please make sure they are planters and not fresh cut flowers.
