Jean Kay Fratena, 83, of Willoughby, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born May 20, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Jacob and Julia (Liebenizer) Gommel. She was the former wife of William C. Fratena whom she married in Wickliffe, Ohio.
Jean enjoyed reading, bowling, visiting casino's, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Craig) Roeder, Roberta (Robert) Sweitzer, and Jackie (Robert) Franks; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, James Gommel.
Jean was preceded in death by her son, William C. Fratena, Jr. and her sister, Jackie Ritchie.
She will be laid to rest in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to all of the people affiliated with the David Simpson Hospice House on East 185th Street in Cleveland.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
