Jeanne F. "Jean" Faflik, 83, passed away on September 5, 2025, at home.

Jean was born on September 10, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Theus) Gielink. She was a 1959 graduate of Willoughby/Eastlake North High School in Eastlake, Ohio.

She worked in the electronic field at Ardac, Allen-Bradly, Namco, and Tetrad.

Jean enjoyed crocheting, hiking, ceramics, crafts, working out in the swimming pool and reading. She enjoyed volunteering at church, cub scouts and Lake Metroparks. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Mentor.

Aside from her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her ex-husband; sister, Carol (Bill) Weiss; and brothers, Robert (Josie) Gielnik and James (Tony) Gielnik.

Jean is survived by her children, Daniel (Patty), Tammy and Jerome; grandsons, Jason and Patrick (Destiny); great-granddaughters, Jolene and Isabella.

Visitation will be 9am Saturday Sept. 13, 2025, at St. John Vianney Church in the gathering area before the Funeral Mass at 9:30am and burial service will immediately follow at 11:00am at All Souls Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jean to the charity of your choice or have a tree planted in her name.
