Jennifer Lynn Barnes, 42, of Ashtabula, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Hillcrest Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born September 6, 1981, in Claridon, Ohio to Julie Hill and Scott Barnes and graduated from Geneva High School class of 1999.
Jenni was a stay-at-home Mom that loved to cook. Her daughter was her world.
She is survived by her best friend and daughter, Aryanna Scottlyn Rose Barnes; loving and devoted boyfriend, Dale Puffenbarger; mother, Julie Hill; sisterr, Kaylee (Spencer) Hill; brothers, Brad Perry, and Jake (Sara) Perry; stepsisters, Lovona Newell, and Rebecca Cofer; paternal grandmother, Carol Barnes; nieces and nephews, Aiden Hairston, Aubrey Lavender, Jada Lavender, Jules Lavender, and Tanner Perry; aunts and uncles, Mary & Ben Balog, Peggy & Bill Flinta, and Wendy Bosma. She is also survived by many cousins.
Jenni was preceded in death by her father, Scott Barnes; stepfather, Ronald Perry; stepfather, Clayton Hill; paternal grandfather, Gary Barnes; maternal grandparents, H. Dean and Rita Kenney.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to all the nurses and doctors at Hillcrest Hospital CCICU for all their hard work and kindness. Although she will be greatly missed, the family is glad that her pain is gone.
