Jerry Harrison Davis, 75, Pierpont, OH, went to his rest, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Hospice of the Western Reserve, in Cleveland, OH.
Jerry was born on August 13, 1949, in Carp Lake, MI, to Raymond & Roma Davis and was their youngest child.
He married the love of his life, Violet Joy Davis, on June 22, 1968, in Ukiah, CA.
He provided for his family with the work of his hands, at first working in factories and mills, then as an auto & diesel mechanic. He worked in the timber industry for a short time and then went into business for many years with his brother, Verdin (Boots) Davis, doing various types of construction in the Sweet Home, OR area. When he moved to Idaho, he owned JD Construction with his wife and built, repaired, and roofed many homes in the Sandpoint, ID area, for over 20 years.
Jerry is survived by his spouse, Violet Joy Davis, Pierpont, OH; his daughters, Leona (Davis) Norman, Ashtabula, OH, and Christine (Davis) Bangman, Chewelah, WA, and his son, Steven Joseph Davis, Big Falls, MN, as well as their spouses, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Alvin (Buddy) Davis, Moyie Springs, ID, and Jimmy Davis, Naples, ID, as well as his sister-in-laws Velma & Dawn Davis, and many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond & Roma Davis, his son, Kip Harrison Davis, and his brothers, Raymond, Larry & Verdin (Boots) Davis, as well as his nephews, Anthony & Larry Don Davis.
A graveside ceremony to honor his life will be held at:
