Joanne June McCormick

Joanne June McCormick, 78, of Perry, Ohio passed away Monday, June 15, 2026.

Born on June 3, 1948, in Perry, Ohio to the late Burton and Margaret (Stewart) McCormick, she graduated from Perry High School and went on to attend Union College in Kentucky on a music scholarship. Joanne had a beautiful singing voice, and she traveled the world to perform, including singing for the Queen of England.

Joanne was a lifelong member of the Perry United Methodist Church where she was choir director for many years. She was also an active member of the Rebekah Lodge for 60 years and a volunteer at the Perry Center food bank for many years.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Perry United Methodist Church, 3875 Main Street, Perry, Ohio 44081.

In place of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Perry Center, 4261-A, Manchester Road, Perry, Ohio 44081.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
