John P. Stark, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Ashtabula, OH. He was born on November 17, 1951, in Elkins, West Virginia, to parents Mary Kathryn and Joseph Stark and enlisted into the US Army after graduating high school. On June 12, 1999, him and Jean were married at Conneaut Township Park. John did Teledata work for over 20 years, he enjoyed golf, baseball, and doing puzzles. He was a catholic, he was member of the American Legion as well as the VFW and volunteered his time building ramps for veterans. John is survived by his wife, Jean Stark; children, Kate (John) Wagoner, Paul Stark, Melissa Stark, and Brandon Howell; grandchildren, Aiden Wagoner, Adilyn Wagoner, and Phaedra Stark; and brothers, Tom Stark, and Watson Stark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Kathryn Stark and Joseph Stark. A private family viewing will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH, 44041. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
