Joseph David Chase, 87, of Hiram, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
He was born December 16, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Joseph and Lucetta (Stoneman) Chase. Joseph served in the US Army as an MP until he was honorably discharged. After his discharge he received his Bachelor of Business degree from Ohio University.
Joseph was self-employed owning and operating both a nursing home and a surgical supply business. While not working, he was an active member of the Cleveland Society of Poles.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Jack) Groselle and Dee Green; brother Phil (Cynthia) Chase and sister Cathryn (Stan) Piekarski and grandchildren Cameron and Christian Kessler.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Chase.
A Celebration of Life Service will be planned in the future.
