Joseph Gabriel Jasko, age 78, of Painesville, passed away on August 24th, 2024, at The Cottage Assisted Living in Painesville after his battle with Cancer. Joseph was born on October 27th, 1945, to parents Joseph and Mergaret Jaszkewicz. Joseph graduated from Euclid High School and soon after married his love, Karen Jasko on February 27th, 1971, at Euclid Lutheran Church.
Joseph worked for many years at TRW, he also worked as a painter and a student driver instructor for many years. After retiring, Joseph also worked at Lucky's grocery store in Concord part-time. In his free time, he really enjoyed building model boats, fishing, and shooting. Joseph was proud to be a Born Again Christian and his faith and being a part of his church family at Grace Church of Mentor was very important to him. Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Jasko and Samantha (Shawn) Norris. Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife, Karen; his parents; and brother, Albert Jaszkewicz. A Memorial Service will take place at Grace Church of Mentor (6883 Reynolds Rd., Mentor) on Friday, Sept. 6th, with a Visitation from 10:00am-11:00am and a Service to begin at 11:00am.
