Joseph E. Kerry (Joe), 73, of Perry, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid.
He was born April 11, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mathilde and John Kerry and went on to graduate from Madison High School. On June 12, 1976 in Painesville, Ohio he married Gaylinda D. Fryer at St. James Episcopal Church and together they shared 47 years of love and memories.
Joe was a member of the Laborers Local #496 from 1976-1986 and then opened Kerry's North Coast Alignment Center where he worked until his retirement. When not working, Joe first and foremost adored his family and granddaughters and his second love was his Chevy S10 Blazer that he restored from nothing.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gaylinda D. Kerry; children, Jennifer Kerry Holler (Brad Holler), Michael Kerry, Joseph Kerry Jr., and Kristin Lino (Mike Lino); granddaughters, Sophia Holler, Ella Holler, Olivia Lino, and Lexi Lino; mother-in-law, Christine June Fryer; sister, Rebecca Walbridge; many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Mathilde and John Kerry; brothers, John Kerry and James (Jamie) Kerry.
Calling hours will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 5-8pm at Lake Erie Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. An additional calling hour will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery with a reception to follow.
The family wishes to extend of heartfelt "Thank You" to the David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid, Ohio, his doctors and nurses there, especially Ashley his "redhead." Also, a special thank you to Dr. Roger Espinosa and staff who have taken care of Joe for 33 years since his first heart attack. We love you all!
