Joseph C. Mayeux, 36, of Painesville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
He was born October 30, 1987, in Painesville, Ohio to parents Peter L. and Mary J. (Keener) Mayeux and graduated from Riverside High School and the Auburn Career Center.
Joseph was employed by several area restaurants as a cook. In his free time, he liked to fish and loved taking his best friend and dog, Honey, on walks. He was a happy and carefree young man.
He is survived by his parents, Peter L. and Mary J. (Keener) Mayeux; brother, Michael Murphy; several cousins.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Velma and Warren Keener and Joseph William and Mary (Buzon) Mayeux.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, from 2-5pm, at 690 North Creek Dr., Painesville, OH., 44077.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
