Joseph A. Rzeszut, 77, of Geneva, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at UH Geauga Medical Center.
He was born May 25, 1946, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to parents Joseph and Carmella Rzeszut. After graduating from high school, he served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On October 24, 1969, Joseph married Diane Marsh and together they shared over 54 years of love and memories.
Joseph worked many years at Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania and then retired from ARC Rubber in Geneva, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Rzeszut; children, Rebecca (Todd) Alderton and Joseph Rzeszut III; grandchildren, Justin Alderton and Jordan Alderton.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Carmella Rzeszut; children, Stacy and twin boys; sister, Frances.
At his request, there will be no service.
He will be buried in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville, Ohio.
