Josephine F. "Judy" (Bennett) Bohon, formerly of Geneva, Ohio passed away on March 9, 2025.
She was born November 28, 1928, in Canyon, WV to the late James A. and Ethel F. Shipp Bennett and graduated from Newburg High School in 1946.
She was united in marriage on June 13, 1947, to Arthur C. Bohon and together they had a daughter, Ethel C. "Connie" McKinney; 3 grandchildren, Marvin C. McKinney (deceased), Carrie A. Eager, and Tammy L. Klasen; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob L. Eager (deceased), and Savanah R. Klasen; 1 great-great-grandson, Levi J. Eager.
Judy was employed by S.S. Kresges, Jupiter and retired from K-Mart. In her free time, she was active in the Saybrook Grange. Judy and Art owned apartments in the Ashtabula Harbor for many years before retiring and moving to a 40-acre farm in Geneva.
In addition to her immediate family members, Judy is survived by her brother, Paul A. Bennett. She was preceded in death her beloved husband, Arthur C. Bohon; son-in-law, Marvin McKinney; grandson, Marvin C. McKinney; great-grandson, Jacob L. Eager; brothers, Hubert, James (Bud), Walter (Don), Emerson, and Harold Bennett; sisters, Madeline Bennett (in infancy), Thelma Minor, Ada Savino, Janis Geho.
A small service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Shay's Chapel in West Virginia. Burial to follow the service.
